updating our storage devices

CD-ROM and DVD-ROM

CD-ROM disks are very com and conformto a standart but we have now in the market the DVD. Now the CD-ROM and DVD-ROM existed two types:
CD-ROM RD(read only memory)
Capacity from 700MB to 800MB
CD-ROM RW(rewriteable)
capacity fron 700MB to 800MB

DVD-ROM RD(read onli memory)

capacity 4.7GB
DVD-ROM RW(rewriteable)
capacity 4.7GB

And now there are also double layer CDs and DVDs

PEN DRIVE

You need an usb port.
They have a diferent capacitiesfrom 128MB to 4GB.
The standart capacity is 1 or 2GB.
They have much more capacity than floppy disk.
They are faster and very easy to carry.
You can use the pen drive to store files but you can also store programs.
There for you can install them in another computer or in the same pen drive.
They are becoming cheaper and cheaper day by day.
Nowadays you can get a 2GB pen drive for less than 20 euros.

we need new printer

CLAIRE

I need to print in colour, but I don’t mind if it is not fast. What kind of printer should I buy?

You should buy a colour inkjet printer because it prints in colour but it isn't fast and it is cheaper than a laser printer.

MARSHALL

I need to print really fast. I’m not going to use colour or images. Shall I buy an inkjet printer?

You shouldn't buy an inkjet printer because is slow. You shoud a mono laser printer because it is very fast and print in black and white but it is more expensive than an inkjet printer.

the best mouse

The LED mouse

-The Led Mouse sends a light bean to the sensor, the sensor captures the pictures and analyses the images and sends the coordinates to the computer and the computer recives the information and moves the cursor on the screen.

-You don't need a mouse pad.
-There isn't any need of a special surface.
-It can have problems on subtle surfaces like shiny, slick and highly polished and rough surfaces.

The Laser mouse

-The laser mouse is more sensitive than the LED mouse(20 times more sensitive than LED).
-It has a better resolution so it has a better response.
-You don't need a mousepad.

As you can see the Laser is more sensitive and doesn't have any problems in subtle or rough surfaces. I recommend the Laser mouse because it is the newest and the best and it doesn't have so many problems.
